Google map is a genius. I used more than often to locate places that I want to be. However, I never did encounter this in Google earth. The last time I used it, my friend from Tennessee actually said the image that I capture was the old version of their house. So i figured out Google Earth must not be updated. However, Google map has vivid images.

We don’t get Google street view here for the UK yet, but have played around with it for the US and its a pretty neat tool. We do get Google maps and satellite view which shows my house and back garden nicely. I have seen the Google van driving around our city, so they must be in the process of compiling all the street views for the UK.
