The Author.
I’m Arjen Tienkamp, a 21 year old Aviation student and I live in Hoofddorp (near Amsterdam, the Netherlands). I’m studying Aviation Operations at the ROC of Amsterdam Airport.
I like developing websites and web applications. Before studying Aviation, I got my college degree for IT Network Management. Because I’m interested in Aviation for a long time, I decided to begin an Aviation related study. In my free time I’m still working on several webdesign projects.
Besides my Aviation and Webdesign activities I like to travel and read weblogs on the Internet. Listening to music is one of my biggest passions, I do especially like music from the 80’s but I also like some music from now.

The Weblog.
This website is functioning as my personal weblog, and a future portfolio. On my blog I write about the things happening in my life and anything I find interesting. It’s mainly focused on these subjects: Webdesign, Internet and Aviation.
I started my first weblog in September 2007. I like to blog because I’d like to share my thoughts and experiences on the Internet with everybody, including my friends, family and all the other people on the web.
