There was a 200 meter queue from the Amsterdam Bijlmer station to the Heineken Music Hall entrance. Hundreds of people were waiting there to enter the Blackbox; At 9 o'clock Avril Lavigne was giving a live concert. The Jonas Brothers did the support act, and they were great. The crowd was really amused, but like I did, most of them came there especially for Avril Lavigne.

On my flight back from London to Amsterdam last December, I met Kelly. She's a Canadian girl, living in Vancouver. She went to the Netherlands to work as a nanny for a while. After meeting each other again, and sending lots of email messages, I decided that I'm going to visit her this summer. On the 22th of July I'm going to Vancouver for 2 weeks. I'll fly with the KLM, and my flight to Vancouver as well as my flight back to Amsterdam will be direct.

Friday the 20th of June Avril Lavigne is giving a live concert at the Heineken Music Hall. I really like her music, and I've ordered my ticket yesterday. There were just a few tickets still available on the Internet, so I was right on time. The concert starts at 8.00 PM, with a support act of the Jonas Brothers. After the support act Avril's "Best Damn Tour" begins!

I was standing at the D03 platform at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. An Aer Lingus Airbus A321 was taxiing on the platform. I was standing at the end of the centerline of the platform, next to the Ground Power Unit. An amazing feeling of adrenaline rushed through my body. This was such a great experience. A couple of meters in front of me, the aircraft stopped. After the anti-collision lights were switched off, the crew went to the aircraft to start handling the baggage, fuel and all the other necessary proceedings.
