On the websites of major United States television channels you can watch full episodes of their most popular TV shows and series. If you would like to watch episodes of Heroes, Knight Rider or Ugly Betty, and living outside the US, you'll get a message that you are not allowed to watch and the video player doesn't show a thing. When an episode is broadcasted in the US, it takes months before it finally arrives in Europe. If you cannot wait that long, this might be the solution.

Instead of using just one plain color or a photo as a background on a website or blog, designers use patterns very often. You can see it on this weblog as well, a dark background with a light and calm pattern.
There are hundreds of free patterns available on the internet to use for your projects, but if you use these, there is a slight chance that they don't suffice your needs because you didn't design them yourself.

I'm currently busy with building a website for a local culture event. In the past I've made other websites for this customer, and they are all running on Joomla. Because the customer now knows how to work with this software I decided to use it for this website as well. I'm using jQuery and Thickbox to show the pages within the website on a dynamic way, but there happened to be a problem with this.

The last weeks were busy, but now the summer holiday begins and I'll be free for more than one and a half month. The school year finished with an exam week, with 9 exams about the subject material of the preceding eight weeks. During the week before last one we've also had 3 exams and a presentation. Just like the other exam weeks this year I've been incredibly busy with studying, and the results are quite satisfying.
