Terschelling …ander land travel guide has been released.

On July the 1st, last year, my father and stepmother released their book 'Ameland ander land', a comprehensive travel guide about the Dutch island Ameland. It turned out to be successful and they decided to make a similar travel guide about one of the other islands: 'Terschelling'. After months of work this book was released yesterday. My father and stepmother went to the island for one month to collect information, to interview local citizens and to write most of the texts. The design has been made by the same company as the first book, Fennart.

The first steps in creating a Web OS.

Being able to access your calendar, contacts and files wherever you are makes your online and offline life easier. Services like google calendar and esnips give you the ability to do this, but you still have to be a member of multiple services at the same time.

Airport Teuge gets hotel suites in an Ilyushin 18.

Many people only know the Netherlands' biggest airport located in Amsterdam, Schiphol. But the Netherlands has several smaller airports in use, for both civil and military air traffic. Airport Teuge is mostly in use for general and business aviation and will be getting a exclusive hotel.

Going to Risoul with college: Skiing in the French Alps.

It took us nearly 18 hours to get from Amsterdam to Risoul. With something like 30 students and 6 teachers, I traveled to the little skiing village in the French Alps by bus. I couldn't get any sleep, so the trip was long and exhausting. Around 9 o'clock in the morning we finally arrived at Risoul, I (and I think most of us did) felt broken.
